Swedish Star Omar Rudberg Sends Heartfelt Shout-Out to BTS’s Jungkook: “Call Me!”

In a recent MTV UK interview, Swedish singer and actor Omar Rudberg was asked if he had any favorite K-pop artists. Without hesitation, he began humming one of BTS’s Jungkook’s songs, then said with a wide smile: “I love Jungkook! He’s incredible! His dancing, singing, songs he’s an incredible machine. I love that dude, he’s truly amazing.”

Omar didn’t stop there he sent a playful but earnest message directly to the BTS star: “Jungkook, call me.”

Known for his role as Simon in the hit Netflix series Young Royals, Omar previously debuted in the boy group FO&O (2013–2017) before launching his solo music career in 2018 with the single “Que Pasa.” His talents span both music and acting, making him a rising star in global pop culture.

Omar’s fan moment is just one of many in a wave of international admiration for Jungkook. Hollywood actor Tyrese Gibson (of Fast & Furious and Transformers fame) recently posted, “Cheers to you on the talent, voice, and textures…” showing newfound respect for the singer.

Backstreet Boys member A.J. McLean declared himself a “Big Big Fan” of Jungkook, while actor O’Shea Jackson Jr. tweeted, “This Jungkook dude got some bangers lowkey. I’m just now finding out about him.”

Even Andy Samberg, legendary diva Diana Ross, and Tony Award-winning actress Betty Buckley have expressed their admiration many naming “Standing Next to You” as a favorite. American R&B artist Kehlani also shared her love, posting a clip of Jungkook singing her song “Honey” along with the message: “Jungkook, I love you so much!”

As Jungkook’s global solo impact grows, he continues to bridge cultures and genres, becoming a true icon beyond K-pop.
